As most of you should know, the most viewed event on television was on yesterday. No, not the Oscars (obviously... last years was a snooze) but the Super Bowl! Any time between the season opener and Super Bowl was a happy time for the Patriots and their fans. They were 18-0, going on to make NFL history, but Tom Brady's looks weren't enough to get them past the Giants' Michael Strahan and his (their) spectacular defense. And might I say, Strahan is a monster and for a linebacker, very intelligent. Just kidding about the linebacker thing though.
Overall, I would give last night's game a 9 out of 10 and it does help, that the Patriots lost 14 to 17 with Eli's amazing game finishing play. Wow... Two Manning Super Bowl MVP's in a row. That's got to be a perfect family.
Anyway, I enjoyed that game much more than last years, considering it was the "biggest upset" in Super Bowl history. Well, it certainly was the most watched Super Bowl ever with 97.5 million people glued (at least a bit) to their TVs.
Next year, I predict the top 4 teams of next year to be my favorite team, the Seatle Seahawks, the San Diego Chargers, the Carolina Panthers, and the Indianapolis Colts. Seahawks FTW.
